September intake in the UK

Most universities close applications six to eight weeks before term. If you are aiming at September, this is the month to start the file.

Departures from Dhaka

Eight destinations, priced and dated.

Isamoti Tourism & Educare counsels Bangladeshi students through admission, funding and the visa file. Start where every family starts — what a year costs, how much choice you have, and when the next intake opens.

The four our students choose most often. Living costs are the yearly figure a single student in a mid-sized city should budget for, on top of tuition.

Courses worth a shortlist

Can I get in, can I afford it, when do I start. Every row answers all three before you open it.

No course is featured this month

Search the full catalogue by subject and band, or let a counsellor shortlist by hand.

Funding

Scholarships still open

Ordered by how soon they close. Most need a full application on file before you apply, so start six weeks out.

Nothing is open at this moment

Rounds reopen through the year. We will email you the week a relevant one opens.

How we work

What a counsellor here is actually responsible for

Four commitments, in the order they matter to a family paying for this.

  • BDT 0

    Counselling costs you nothing

You pay the university application fee, the IELTS booking and the visa charge — all of them to the institution, not to us. Shortlisting, document checks, filing and the pre-departure briefing are free.

  • 1 file

We only file where you can get in

Your transcripts, band and funds are checked against the published entry requirements before anything is sent. If a university is out of reach we say so, rather than collecting an application fee for an offer that was never coming.

  • 1 counsellor

The same person, start to gate

Whoever reads your transcripts on day one briefs you the week you fly. Nothing is handed to a visa desk that has never seen your file, and you always have one number to call.

  • 6–9 months

    Planned backwards from the intake

One to three months on admission, four to eight on funds and the visa file. We work back from the intake you are aiming at and give you the date each document is due.

Student stories

Students who have already gone

Named students, named universities, named intakes. Every one of them will take a call from an applicant considering the same course.

The first stories are being written up

Ask a counsellor to put you in touch with a student already at the university you are considering.

Diary

Where to meet us next

Fairs, seminars and online sessions. Bring your transcripts and IELTS result if you have them — assessments are done on the spot.

Nothing in the diary this month

The Banani office is open Saturday to Thursday, and a counsellor can see you without an appointment.

Guides

Written for the questions we get asked twice a day

Rule changes, visa routes and the paperwork order, updated when the rules move rather than on a schedule.

The first guides are being written

In the meantime, ask a counsellor your question directly — we answer within one working day.

Bring your transcripts. Leave with a shortlist.

A first consultation takes about forty minutes. We read your results, tell you which of the 17 universities on our list you are competitive for, and put a date on every document you will need.
